Bayonetta hair6/12/2023 ![]() ![]() When a fan replied they could not imagine Bayonetta without Taylor's voice, she responded, “Well you might have to. "The greatest gift of doing Bayonetta are my lovely fans," Taylor said. Recently, Bayonetta's voice actor, Hellena Taylor, also raised concerns around the status of the project-or at least worries regarding her involvement-after comments made on Twitter. Kamiya did try to warn us that Bayonetta would show up eventually, urging folks to wait until Platinum was ready, but fans did begin to panic after she didn't turn up during this year's E3. Incredible hair-outfit powers aside, this all lines up with an earlier leak from Nintendo Japan's official website. The new footage starts with a bit of a bait and switch with the Astral Chain pup mascot, and at the very end, you may notice a little Devil May Cry imagery-I loudly announced that was Vergil before realizing it was not Vergil. Pay close attention, if you've played some of Kamiya's other games then you may notice a wink and a nod to previous work. She finally conjures up a monster of her own, and if you're familiar with her adventures, you know her hair is a conduit for that. There's a lot of familiar, gunslinging action as Bayo blasts through kaiju-like enemies. ![]() In today's Direct, Bayonetta returns with a new trailer that finally confirms a launch window four years after the project's initial reveal. Donning Bayonetta’s black hair wrapped into a beehive-like hairdo, skin-tight suit, and that iconic red hair ribbon that extends down to her legs covered in a demonic language, Luna from head to. Related: It's World Snake Day, So Here Are The Best Video Game Snakes The ribbons seen in Bayonettas hair initially read her name in demonic script, helping hint at how she came into the name as its not her real one. Of course, her long locks are part of her witchy skills, but this new look has got to be the most powerful yet. You've seen her with a wicked-good beehive before swapping things up to a stylish, short cut in the 2014 sequel, but now Bayo's magic hair is taking shape as fancy braided pigtails that loop around her outfit. During today's Nintendo Direct, the PlatinumGames action heroine showed off her brand new do and 2022 release window. Her outfit is also made of hair, and frankly there isn’t enough for both modesty and weaponry. These are not creatures which merely live within her locks, but deadly weapons made entirely of Bayonetta’s hair. But this is anathema to fans, so they’ve made a whole theory that would explain how Taylor can both be playing and not playing Bayonetta in Bayonetta 3.Bayonetta 3 is still a real thing that is happening, just like PlatinumGames promised. Bayonetta is an ancient witch with the power to summon giant fists, feet, and even demons from her hair. Occam’s razor would suggest that Bayonetta has a new voice because Hellena Taylor was not invited back or simply chose not to reprise the role for whatever reason. Perhaps it’s a testament to how attached Bayonetta fans are to her actress (as well as everything else about her) that they’ve come up with a complicated alternate timeline to explain why she has a new one. Because fans are holding out hope that Taylor isn’t gone from the game completely, and because she has not outright stated she’s parted ways with the character, we’re all making hay with what we have. Regular voice actress Hellena Taylor had previously tweeted some cryptic references to Bayonetta being voiced by someone new and then refusing to elaborate. The primary reason for all the Bayonetta 3 theory-crafting is probably because fans are trying to rationalize why Bayonetta has a new voice actress. Bayonetta Sounds Different, and We Must Explain That Here’s everything you need to know about the Bayonetta 3 Alternate Universe / Time-Traveling Cerezanetta Theory, as I’m calling it. She awakens after a 500-year sleep 17 and finds herself in an unfamiliar area with no memories of who or what she is. Let’s talk about how Bayonetta fans have built an entire plot theory for the new game, why they’ve done so, and what evidence they have. Bayonetta (voiced by Hellena Taylor / Atsuko Tanaka) 16 is a witch who shapeshifts and uses various firearms, along with magical attacks she performs with her hair by summoning demons to dispatch her foes. I don’t think it’s possible to overstate how much this game and this series mean to me, but I know that not everyone is going to want to see me have a big ol’ fangirl meltdown, so instead, let’s talk about something constructive. To say that fans like myself were on the verge of tears would be closer to the truth than I care to admit. Capcom revealed a new gameplay trailer at the most recent Nintendo Direct, showing off Bayonetta’s new look, her new angel-killing abilities, and her new voice. It finally happened: After nearly four years of waiting and hoping, Bayonetta 3 is ready for prime time.
